Zhuhai Institutes of Advanced Technology visits CityU Macau to promote Academic and Scientific Exchanges
A delegation led by Mr. Chen Yili, Director of Zhuhai Institutes of Advanced Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (ZIAT) and Party Branch Secretary, paid a visit to the City University of Macau (CityU Macau) today (27) to promote exchanges. Mr. Chan Meng Kam, Chairman of the University Council, and Rector Jun Liu warmly received the group at the Taipa campus. The two sides agreed to facilitate cooperation in education, study program enhancement, and scientific research.
During the meeting, the two parties conducted in-depth discussions on joint study programs to cultivate talents and professionals, including a plan to launch an exchange program for students to study in the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. ZIAT agreed to pour power to help incubate entrepreneurial projects of students from CityU Macau.
The two groups promised to exert strengths in promoting academic and scientific research, helping to advance industrial incubation, research item declaration, and funding application in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and integrating strategy of industry-university-research-fund in developing scientific projects.
