Senior Professor of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, South China University of Technology, Prof. Li Li and Assistant Professor Dr. Li Jian Yao of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Sun Yat-sen University visited the City University of Macau recently and were warmly welcomed by the Vice-rector and Dean of the Faculty of International Tourism and Management, Aliana Leong and Professor Li Xin.
The tripartite discussed the education processes of graduates, doctorate cultivation, and the major works of graduate education in recent years. Vice-rector, Prof. Leong oriented them of the present state of the Faculty of International Tourism and Management, CityU and the university’s graduate program. Prof. Li Li and Dr. Li Jian Yao gave high recognition of the rigorous education mode and international connections of the FITM. They also expressed that the purpose of this visit was to further strengthen cooperation and exchanges with the FITM of CityU for graduate cultivation and jointly develop talents with international strategic vision and innovative thinking. The three sides also exchanged ideas about the World Tourism Economic Forum in Macau by exploring opportunities and challenges brought about by the interactions between industries and tourism.
