According to the relevant guidelines issued by the Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ), the class commencing date of the City University of Macau remains unchanged. If the epidemic situation is stable, face-to-face teaching will be resumed from 13 September (Monday), and online lessons will be mainly conducted before this date.
For the resumption of face-to-face teaching, students must follow the following rules:
1. Must return to the residence in Macao, Zhuhai or Zhongshan 14 days before resume classes in Macao.
2. Those who personally, or whose housemates, have been to places outside Macao, Zhuhai, Zhongshan after 6 Aug will be requested to undergo a nucleic acid test 5 days before resume classes in Macao.
Freshman’s Registration
In order to avoid gathering of large crowds at a certain period of time, the University canceled the original centralized on-site registration arrangement. From 20 August (Friday) onwards, the Library and the University Gallery will be reopened to students, teachers and staff, while providing limited services and implementing special opening hours.
The above arrangements will be adjusted according to changes of the epidemic situation and the anti-epidemic policy of the Macao SAR Government. Please pay close attention to the latest information released by the University.
The University urges all students, teachers and staff to actively respond to the SAR government’s epidemic prevention policy; refrain from going out unnecessarily, ensure good self-health management, and avoid going to crowded places; encourage all qualified personnel to finish the COVID-19 vaccination as soon as possible.
